Our show is getting closer and dress rehearsals are coming up. I wanted to take a moment to tell you a little bit about how things go at dress rehearsal.
Dress rehearsals are held over a three day period (Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday June 16, 17 and 18) at Higley Center for the Performing Arts
At dress rehearsal, we ask that you come fully dressed with makeup and hair done
Please come through the main entrance into the theater and sit down. We will impart some information at the beginning of each rehearsal period so please arrive on time
If you have multiple numbers you can first go to the dressing rooms to place your costumes and then head out into the theater
Once your dancer has practiced on the stage, you are free to go unless you have additional numbers
There is no food or drinks in the backstage area except in the green room. We prefer you keep food to a minimum and please don’t allow your children to eat food while wearing their costumes.
Please put your name on all your costume parts and shoes so that we can return them if they are misplaced
We ask that you put some simple make up on your dancer for both dress rehearsal and the recital as stage lights tend to wash out facial features
Feel free to take photos and videos during dress rehearsal! (Only during rehearsal and NOT the recital)
Please be advised that we do not allow photos or recording of any kind during the show. We are adamant about this. We want the kids to see faces in the audience and not phones. Our video downloads are available six weeks after the show.
We know you will love our presentation. We take a great deal of pride in creating it and know that your kids and you will have a wonderful experience!
